The hope chest

The ‘Hope Chest’ is now available in three communities*: North Providence, Johnston, and Warwick. This is the newest opportunity for you to positively impact your neighbors, and is intended to be a community-sponsored program.

If you find yourself fortunate to have more than you need, you can make a difference by dropping off a few items. If you happen to be struggling to keep food in your cupboards, we hope you can fill in some of the gaps by picking up a few items.

Help us raise awareness about the food insecurity crisis in RI. Rally your friends, family, and coworkers and get creative or consider one of the possibilities below.

* Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center: In-person donations can be made between 10am - 3pm (advance notice is preferred). Given the importance of anonymity, an amazon wish list has been created to safely and securely donate items. Begin shopping here:
